Educational Presentations
Single Presenter Program
Our basic demonstration is the Single Presenter Program. Knights of Veritas Director Eric Slyter personally conducts the Single Presenter program, wearing a full set of armour and bringing a variety of other representative pieces.
This program includes:
- educational handouts on arms, armour, women warriors and other topics of interest
- discussion and Q&A
- interactive exercises
- exciting hands-on sharing of faithful replicas
- Code of Chivalry handouts
- New in 2012! Authentic antique medieval artifacts on display, including coins, buckles, a spur and even a real piece of armour, among other exciting antiquities!
Your presentation can be tailored to fit existing curricula. Approximately 45 minutes to 1 hour in length, it is perfect for in-class school presentations.
Cost to your organization: $200 (please see our Travel Rates, below)
Swordfighting Program
Our Swordfighting Program features Director Eric Slyter and his assistant demonstrating authentic, documented historical sword combat techniques in and out of full armour. These exciting techniques are first executed at full speed, and then repeated in slow motion with explanation. The historical process of how armour is put on is demonstrated, along with explanation of the different pieces, with both presenters wearing complete sets of armour.

Travel Rates
We try to keep travel costs affordable for our presentations; in most cases, at or below $100 for much of our service area of the Pacific Northwest. It is always easier for us to
keep travel costs down when we are traveling for more than one presentation on a given day. We are willing to work with you to find other
organizations in your local area who are also interested in having a presentation, in order to keep travel costs
down for everyone.
Another way to more easily negotiate travel costs is combining an Educational Presentation with a
Mini-Workshop. This is often a helpful route for many smaller organizations, since participant fees cover the costs associated
with a Mini-Workshop. By combining activities we can offer a break on travel expenses. Mini-Workshops are
very popular activities!
